WCIS, "western Carolina's Inspiration Station" has been in operation for over 30 years, and we're growing and running strong!

The only gospel station serving our region, here at WCIS we seek to be a light in a dark world.

Started in 1993, WCIS has always worked to offer the best in southern gospel music and Faith-based programming to Burke & surrounding counties. While the station has been through two massive floods and one devastating fire, it is still perservering and thriving. 

​

In October of 2019, WCIS, AM 760 will grow to include FM 100.9 - furthering the positive message and Gospel of Christ even farther

(and 24hrs a day)!

Through out the day we offer a top-notch mixture of solid Bible-preaching, teaching, instruction and discussion along with the best in gospel music this side of heaven!  Our weekends are full of local programming tailored to our community including local church services and our original Local Artist Spotlight featuring Shellem Cline - be sure to tune in!​
